If anyones interested i have posted the source for Shake3.bsp on the Source page, it is the full final map file i used to compile Shake3.

6 out of the 10 weapons have been done along with all of their sounds, we're just waiting for the models to put up some shots.
The weapons done so far are
  • Pulse Rifle
  • Energy Musket
  • Advanced Energy Musket
  • 12mm Assault Machine Gun
  • Acid Rifle
  • Boom Box :)

KhaDGaR reports he has almost finished the 2nd (or maybe 3rd level depending if i can figure out a way to do what i want before the level hes doing) so hopefully we will have some shots of that up soon too.

I have completed the code for 3 of the weapons, and several other misc things so im just waiting for The Whitehouse to get onto the models and ill put up some shots :)

I have released my first level for Quake 2 called Shake ]I[ [300k] so grab it now and have a look, oh yeah heres the text file shake3.txt.

The Core gamex86 code for Zenith is comming along nicely now after a typo bug set me back an hour or two :)

The Whitehouse has started on the Orc models for Zenith TC, and they look really funky!

Hrmmm, in my New Year drunkeness, i completely stuffed this page up, it was all fixed up this morning except for one thing, it was John Cash that replied to me (whoops:) maybe i need glasses or something.
Happy new year to all!!!

I recived email from John Cash confirming the bug in the Quake gamex86 code so it should be all fixed in the next release of the code!

v3.06 Gamex86 Source Bug
I have found a bug in the g_ai.c source file, its not too major but it stuffs up the monster following code a bit.
Here is a link to the corrected code g_ai.txt. Replace the old code in the ai_run() function with this.

Coding of Zenith TC has started, it is so much easier than Quake C but takes a bit of getting used too.

I have put two 30 second MP3 clips from the soundtrack im working on for Zenith TC on the Zenith TC page.

"The Wraith of Zenith TC"
This one is gonna be big! Alot of the concepts are still up in the air but the main story has already been finished, I have already started work on level Design (paper only atm), Sound Track (i may post some tracks sometime soon?), and Textures, and as soon as The Whitehouse gets back from holidays hes gonna start on the Models.



This site is rather bare at the moment, but is being prepared for lotsa cool stuff including "The Wraith of Zenith TC" for Quake 2. Previous releases from us for Quake were few so we didnt get much exposure due to lack of time, but The Whitehouse [gfx dude] is free now to start work on the TC.
There may be periodic Deathmatch level releases by me since i am a Quake 2 LAN fan. They are ususally made for 8 or less people and tend more toward Doom style DM levels since i find these much more enjoyable than huge levels with to much complexity, DM is about killing each other lots not how big and pretty you can make your levels (although pretty helps :).
